Filters & Filter Assemblies

Our diverse program experience includes filters, multiplexers and integrated assemblies used in a wide variety of defense electronics, space, border security and commercial communication systems where function and reliability are crucial.

Amplifiers

API is a world class leader in amplifier technology and a full service partner for high performance amplification requirements. The company continues to broaden its technology base through higher frequency designs, higher power models, lower cost selections, and lower phase noise amplifiers.

New 1.0 GHz to 18.0 GHz Diplexer/Bias-T when RF Modulation or DC Injection is a Must

ORLANDO, FL — February 16, 2012 — API Technologies Corp. (NASDAQ:ATNY) (“API” or the “Company”), a provider of electronic systems, subsystems, RF, and secure systems for defense, aerospace, and commercial applications, announced today the availability of its new CMD837, 1.0 GHz to 18.0 GHz highpass / lowpass diplexer, Bias-T from its CMT Filters product group. The CMD837, 1.0 GHz to 18.0 GHz Bias-T, is an ideal solution when RF modulation or DC injection is essential.

Digital Frequency Discriminators

API's Digital Frequency Discriminators, or DFD, find applications in both low cost radar warning receivers, enhancing the identification of threat signals against dense non threat background signals, and sophisticated ESM and ECM receivers.

Receiver Front Ends

API offers a line of custom receiver front-end designs which are intended to enhance receiver performance thought he use of SMI’s filter enhancement and other high performance core components.

Frequency Activity Detectors

API’s ability to integrate its own high performance broadband channelizers, high Q filters and low loss detectors allows them to provide stable outputs over temperature, a more tolerable RF match for the filter and improved Signal to Noise ratio to make this line of Frequency Activity Detectors (FADs).

Upconverters/Downconverters

API's Upconverters and Downconverters utilize in-house filter, amplifier and mixer designs as well as an optional dual channel frequency converter with a tunable synthesized LO, very popular in many airborne applications.

Switched Multiplexers

API’s high performance Switched Multiplexers are realized by power splitting the broadband input equally between two filter banks. Each filter bank utilizes multiplexed, switched bandpass channels forming "odd" and "even" channels. The outputs are recombined in a resistive combiner.

Frequency Multipliers

API's line of both low phase noise Frequency Multipliers and low noise, odd order, SRD based Frequency Multipliers deliver superior AM phase noise performance as well as excellent spurious levels.

Master Reference Oscillators

The line of Master Reference Oscillators (MROs) from API utilize vibration hardened, ultra low noise crystal oscillators intended for severe environments.  These MROs utilize a unique dampening structure isolating it from the detrimental effects of micro phonics on phase noise performance.
