TEW-5318 Series U-BUS/DNIC Input/Output Transformer

TEW-5318 is designed to interface with the subscriber premises (NT) and the 2-wire line side of the central office equipment (LT) in the ISDN system. TEW-5318 meets the requirements for the Mitel MT8972 and MT8971B/72B devices. TEW5318-1 is supplied with a “Flux-band” for additional cross talk suppression.

TEW-5317 Series Input Transformer

TEW-5317 is designed and approved to be used as a receive transformer in CEPT applications with the following device:

  • STC TEL5219L

Longitudinal Bal.: Exceeds the requirements of CCITT I.431 Return Loss: Exceeds the requirements of CCITT G.703 and BS6328.

TEW-5316 Series Output Transformer

TEW-5316 is designed and approved to be used as a transmit transformer in CEPT applications with the following devices:

  • STC TEL5219L

Complies with CCITT G.703 and I.431 with regards to Longitudinal Balance, Pulse Mask and Impedance.

TEW-5315 Series Input/Output Transformer

TEW-5315 is designed to be used either as a transmit or a receive transformer in the ISDN primary access network, interfacing the SIEMENS PEB2235 to a 75, 100 or 120 ohm line. When in transmit mode, connect the two primary windings in parallel, pin 3 to 4 and pin 6 to 5. When in receive mode, connect the two primary windings in series, pin 6 to pin 4, thus forming a center tap at pin 6/4.

TEW-5314 Series Input/Output Transformer

TEW-5314 is designed and approved to be used as a Receive transformer in T1/CEPT applications with the following Crystal devices: CS61535A, CS61574, CS61574A, CS61575 and CS6158A. Also as a Transmit Transformer for:

  • CS61574, CS61534, and CS61535

Longitudinal Bal.: Exceeds the requirements of ANSI T1.408 and CCITT I.431 Return Loss: Exceeds the requirements of ANSI T1.408, CCITT G.703 and BS6328.

TEW-5313 Series Output Transformer

TEW-5313 is designed and approved to be used as a transmit transformer in T1/CEPT applications with the following devices:

  • Crystal CS61535A, CS61574A, CS61575 and CS6158A
  • Level 1 LXT304A and LXT305A

Complies with ANSI T1.408 and CCITT I.431 with regards to Longitudinal Balance.

TEW-5291 Series Bridging Transformer

TEW-5291 is designed to be used as a high impedance “Bridging Transformer” in the ISDN primary rate access network for T1 and CEPT applications. TEW-5291 will not significantly affect the line impedance, hence the return loss, if loaded with a high impedance >10 Kohm. Connect pin 1 & 8 across the line, short pin 4 to pin 6 and terminate 3 & 5 with a high impedance, not lower than 10Kohm.

TEW-5281 Series Input Transformer

TEW-5281 is designed and approved to be used as a Receive Transformer in T1 and CEPT applications with the following devices:

  • Dallas DS2187
  • PMC -Sierra PM4341 T1X, and PM6431 E1
  • AT&T T729O
  • EXAR T5683

TEW-5281-3 is designed to be used as an input transformer for:

  • Dallas DS5151Q, and DS5153Q

Complies with ANSI T1.408 and CCITT I.431 with regards to Longitudinal Balance, and with T1.408, G.703 and BS6328 for the Return Loss.

  • AT&T T7290

Complies with ANSI T1.408 and CCITT I.431, with regards to Longitudinal Balance.

TEW-5252 Series U-BUS Input/Output Transformer

TEW-5252-1 is designed to interface with the subscribers premises (NT) and the 2- wire line side of the Central Office Equipment (LT) in the ISDN Network. TEW-5252-1 meets the electrical requirements for the AT&T T7262 device, and complies with the ANSI T1.601 specification. Designed to meet the requirements BS6301 for reinforced insulation, clearance and creepaga distances.

  • High performance ANSI 2B1Q line code.
  • Low profile construction.
  • Up to 30 mA line current.
  • Exceeds the requirements of EN60950 and EN41003.
