TEW-5111 Series Input Transformer

TEW-5111 is designed and approved to be used as a receive transformer with the following devices:

  • MITEL MT89760 and MT89790

Low profile Surface Mount. Complies with ANSI T1.408 and CCITT I.431 for Longitudinal Balance and T1.408, G.703 & BS6328 for Return Loss.

Features:
  • Primary rate ISDN network nodes.
  • PBX or computer to T1/CEPT Digital Trunks.
  • TDM Multiplexers.

TEW-5043 Series Matching Transformer

TEW-5043 is specifically designed to match a 120 ohm twisted pair to a 75 ohm coaxial line in the CEPT trunk. The Longitudinal balance exceeds the requirements of CCITT I.431. The Return Loss exceeds the requirements of CCITT G.703 and BS6328. DO NOT USE IN NEW DESIGNS. Use TEW-5054 where possible.

Features:
  • Designed to match a 120 ohm twisted pair to a 75 ohm coaxial line in the CEPT trunk
  • Exceeds the requirements of CCITT I.431

TEW-5039 Series U-BUS/DNIC Input/Output Transformer

TEW-5039 is designed to interface with the subscribers premises (NT) and the 2- wire line side of the Central Office Equipment (LT) in the ISDN Network. TEW-5039 meets the electrical requirements for the Mitel MT8972 & MT8971B/72B devices.

Features:
  • Up to 50 mA line current.
  • Designed to meet EN60950 and EN41003 for reinforced insulation between line and device side.

TEW-5009 Series Test Transformer

TEW-5009 is specifically designed to be used as an isolation transformer in test setups for testing Longitudinal Balance and Return Loss in Primary Rate and Basic Rate Circuits. Special attention has been given to the problems associated with the coupling capacitance between windings when transforming from balanced to unbalanced circuits.

Features:
  • Shield between windings.
  • Very low Leakage Inductance.
  • Excellent balance.

TEW-4994 Series Input/Output Transformer

TEW-4994 is designed to be used either as a transmit or a receive transformer in the ISDN primary access network, interfacing SIEMENS PEB2235 and PEB-2236 to a 75, 100 or 120 ohm line. When in transmit mode, connect the two primary windings in parallel, pin 1 to 2 and pin 5 to 6. When in receive mode, connect the two primary windings in series, pin 5 to pin 2, thus forming a center tap at pin 5/2.

Features:
  • Primary rate ISDN network nodes.
  • PBX or computer to T1/CEPT Digital trunks.
  • TDM Multiplexers.

TEA-4989 Series Line Matching Transformer

TEA-4989 is an Audio Line matching transformer with the following features.

  • Low profile.
  • Conforms to FCC part 68, Canadian CS 03 regulations.
Features:
  • Line matching in 600 & 900 ohm circuits with up to 10 mA d.c. imbalance.

TEW-4980 Series Input/Output Transformer

TEW-4980 is designed to be used either as a transmit or a receive transformer in the ISDN primary access network, interfacing SIEMENS PEB2235 and PEB2236 to a 75, 100 or 120 ohm line. When in transmit mode, connect the two primary windings in parallel, pin 1 to 3 and pin 2 to 4. When in receive mode, connect the two primary windings in series, pin 2 to pin 3, thus forming a center tap at pin 2/3.

Features:
  • Primary rate ISDN network nodes.
  • PBX or computer to T1/CEPT Digital trunks.
  • TDM Multiplexers.
  • Certified to EN60950 & EN41003.

TEW-4977 Series Input/Output Transformer

TEW-4977 & -1 are designed and approved to be used as an Input transformer with the following devices.

  • Crystal CS61534, 61535, 61574, 6158, 61535A, 61574A, 61575, 6158A.
  • Level One LXT 300, 301, 305, 304A,305A

Also as an Output transformer for:

  • Crystal CS61534, 61535, 61574 & 6158.
  • Level One LXT 300, 301, 305

TEW-4977-2 is designed to be used as an Output transformer, and TEW4977-3 as an Input transformer for:

  • Brooktree BT8069B device
Features:
  • Fully encapsulated in epoxy. Typical applications are:
  • Primary rate ISDN network nodes.
  • PBX or computer to T1/CEPT Digital trunks.
  • High speed data link using T1/CEPT Digital trunk.
