API Technologies Celebrates Outstanding Suppliers

ORLANDO, Fla. and GREAT YARMOUTH, UK  — September 2, 2013 — API Technologies Corp. (NASDAQ:ATNY) (“API” or the “Company”), a trusted provider of RF/microwave, microelectronics, and security solutions for critical and high-reliability applications, recently held a Suppliers Day Event at Great Yarmouth Racecourse in the United Kingdom to recognise its suppliers and honour the outstanding performance of two of its suppliers, Hi-Rel Lids of Harleston, Norfolk and Kyocera Fineceramics of Frimley, Hampshire. Both companies achieved 24 months consecutive zero-defect supply and on-time delivery.

“As a leading developer and manufacturer of electronic systems, subsystems, modules and components for harsh and critical environments, API has built its reputation on the reliability and dependability of its products. Therefore, our supply chain is critical to our own performance,” said Sharon Bracey, Supply Chain Development Manager, RF/Microwave & Microelectronics (RF2M UK), API Technologies.

"These awards recognise not only outstanding supply performance, but also the fact that our mutual success is dependent on the very close partnerships with our strategic supply chain members,” added Bracey.

Andrew Rimmer, Sales Manager UK, Ireland & Nordic Region at Kyocera Fineceramics said: “It takes a dedicated team of people throughout the Kyocera organisation to achieve this great performance, but such an award would not happen without a strong working relationship with API Technologies.”

Hi-Rel Lids, which is based in Norfolk, England, supplies API high-quality milled, stamped or formed metal lids for API Technologies’ hybrid packages.
