New Videos: Car Bomb Disposal Demonstration

See the teleMAX and tEODor Explosive Ordnance Disposal (EOD) robots and the Hawki Video Aiming System in action as they dispose of suspicious packages located in the passenger compartment and trunk of a vehicle.

The teleMAX and Hawki Video Aiming System will be among the products on display at next week's AUVSI Unmanned Systems North America event in Denver, Colorado.

New Event Added to Schedule: LandWarNet in Tampa, FL

API Technologies will be attending the LandWarNet 2010 Tradeshow at the Tampa Convention Center in Tampa, Florida from August 3-5. "LandWarNet: Providing Global Cyber Dominance to Joint/Combined Commanders" offers the largest defense, communication, and Information Technology tradeshow in the Southeast.

API Technologies' Pennsylvania Office Named "Employer of the Year"

We are pleased to announce that the API Technologies’ Pennsylvania office was named “Employer of the Year” by the Pennsylvania Federation of Business and Professional Women’s Clubs (BPW/PA). After being given the designation by the local Windber Chapter of BPW/PA, API then went on to win the state-wide award, which recognizes companies that further the employment, advancement and recognition of women.  

API’s Carl Sax (Executive Vice President and General Manager of API Defense and API Systems) and Emily Holgash were on hand at the 90th Pennsylvania Federation of Business and Professional Women’s Clubs (BPW/PA) State Convention, held June 10-12, 2010 in Blairsville, PA to accept the honor.

New Video: PersiStar™ Takes Flight

Check out the latest video featuring PersiStar™ Unmanned Arial Vehicle (UAV) from API Technologies.  The PersiStar is a low cost, medium altitude, long endurance Unmanned Air System (UAS) capable of reconnaissance, surveillance, and/or precision re-supply. Equipped with state-of-the-art avionics, the PersiStar is operational in both LOS and OTH environments and can utilize GPS waypoint guidance and/or Iridium satellite control.
