SP280TIR TEMPEST Level B Rugged Printer

The SP280TIR rugged TEMPEST printer is used where a reliable, field proven print capability is required.

The printer combines the reliable and field proven dot matrix print engine from Oki with the specialist ruggedisation required for continuous operation in harsh environment Military installations. In addition to the formal environmental testing to Def Stan 00-35 (similar to MIL – STD-810) the printer has been extensively proven in operation.

The flexibility to print on single sheets through to multi ply continuous stationery makes the SP280TIR rugged printer particularly suitable for messaging and logistics operations. The printer is NATO codified under the previous denomination PD121B and is in widespread use with the UK armed forces and throughout NATO.

The SP280TIR rugged printer comes in a range of versions; able to operate from 28VDC (11- 32V) Military mobile operations standard supply as well as AC power supplies. Interfaces can be USB, Serial RS232C, RS422 or Centronics Parallel enabling connection to a wide variety of new and legacy systems.

The SP280TIR is designed for rugged installation applications and compliments the range of rugged and TEMPEST products.
