API's National Hybrid Announces Size Breakthrough for Military Standard-1553 Communications Interface

April 25, 2007 -- API Nanotronics Corp. (OTCBB: APIO) ("API") (the "Company"), a leading supplier of electronic components to the defense and communications sectors, is pleased to announce that its National Hybrid division has introduced the smallest Mil-Std-1553 integrated terminal available.

As part of the NHI-156XXPBGA family of products, this low-cost terminal is targeted for high-volume defense markets such as GPS-guided vehicles, allowing sophisticated programmed instructions and data to be downloaded from stationary or airborne control centers. A broad range of applications will be pursued by API's sales and marketing team. The highly reliable plastic construction of the product allows it to meet harsh environmental requirements, while remaining cost effective in high-volume markets.

Phillip DeZwirek, Chairman and CEO of API, stated, "This product is further validation of the advanced research and development capabilities of our company. With initial production units already being shipped, this achievement demonstrates the engineering capabilities and state-of-the-art manufacturing processes that enable us to bring unique, high quality products to market quickly."
